Yeah that is correct. American revolution came in as a result that they did not want any other King to stupidly rule them. They wanted democracy and not an Hippocratic emperor rule. They did not like a Tyrant king to just rule away them throughout their entire life

I would agree on that statement.
theory of the divine right of kings stated that the leader of a nation is appointed by the God Himself and nothing that humans could do to intervene.
The existence of the Democratic government change the very nature of this view because the leader of the nations is fully chosen by the will of the people.
