Read these lines from the poem. Did He smile His work to see? Did He who made the lamb make thee? These lines allude to God or a creator. How does this allusion affect the meaning of the poem?

The allusion leads to the concept that  he is almighty but he is also a loving and good god . And the meaning is from him being the creator of the lamb and the creator of us .

Answer:

A.The speaker wonders whether the creator who made the lamb would make the tiger.

Step-by-step explanation:

According to a different source, these are the options that come with this question:

A.The speaker wonders whether the creator who made the lamb would make the tiger.

B.The allusion reveals the speaker’s resentment regarding religious beliefs and rituals.

C.The speaker prays to his creator in the hope that someone will rescue him.

D.The allusion suggests that the speaker values the lamb more than he values the tiger.

In these lines, the author thinks about God, and how He might have reacted upon realizing what He had created. The speaker wonders whether God smiled, and he also wonders whether the same God that created the tiger created the lamb. This question encourages the reader to focus on how different the tiger and the lamb are.
