How were the Crusades different from some of the wars we’re more familiar with today, such as the Vietnam War, the Iraq War, or the “War on Terrorism?”

Answer:

The Crusades were a war between religions. Most of the wars now are because of power and politics. Don’t get me wrong not all of them. Some places even now most likely still fight over religion. Most however, don’t.
