1.75 km = 1750 m
1750 m - 800 m = 950 m
950 m + 910 m = 1860 m
1917 m - 1860 m = 57 m

Answer: 57 more meters

It is given in the question that Maria hiked 1.75km up to Mt Washington . Then back down 800 meters= 0.8km to meet her friend . So she is at

1.75-0.8 = 0.95km up to Mt Washington .

Then she back up by 910 m = 0.91 km. So she is at

0.95+0.91 = 1.86km up Mt Washington .

And Mt Washington is 1917 m = 1.917 km tall .

So she have to go up by

1.917-1.86 =0.057km = 57 meters .
