D(-4, 4), E(3, -5) and F(5, 1)

median is midpoint
passes through point D so

M(EF)
x = (3+5)/2 = 4
y = (-5+1)/2 = -2

M(EF) = (4,-2)
pass thru
D(-4, 4)

slope = (4+2)/(-4-4) = -6/8 = - 3/4

y = mx + b
b = y - mx
b = 4 - (-3/4)(-4)
b = 4 - 3
b = 1

equation
y = -3/4 x + 1
