The similarities they have is that they both produce two different identical cells to each other and to the mother cell, but the mechanism is totally different as binary fission takes place in the prokaryotic cells while mitosis takes place in the Eukaryota cells

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello!

Let's solve this!

The similarities between mitosis and binary fission is that in both there is a cell division in which two daughter cells identical to each other and with respect to the mother are produced.

The main difference between the two processes is that mitosis is the cell division in eukaryotic organisms and the binary fission is the cell division in Prokaryotic cells.
