In the utilitarian principle, a decision maker attempts to make that decision which effects the greatest net benefit, that is to say, helping the most people while harming the least. However, the downside to this school of thought is that it still allows some stakeholder to receive negative benefits, and in certain instances specific stakeholder subgroups may receive disproportionate, even extreme, negative impacts.

One of the problems is that it is almost impossible to evaluate the benefits or costs of many decisions
This happens because Utilitarian principle only determine which action is right and which one is wrong based solely on the outcome of the actions, Even if for example, killing methods are used to achieve that outcome.
