Jimmy has seven times as many dimes as nickels. Their value is $3.75. How many nickels does he have?

A) 35
B) 15
C) 5

The answer would be 5. A nickel is 5 cents. So 5*5 would be 25 cents. Then the amount of nickels is times 7 and that's how many dimes there are. Which is 35. So then you times 35 by 10 which is 350cents which equals 3.50 $ so then add the 25 cent from earlier with the nickels and you have the amount you needed 3.75$
