Equation: 2x + y = 2
When two lines are parallel the slope is the same and since the y-intercept is 2 then the Equation would be 2x + y = 2.

Ok, we know the y-intercept of the target equation, so we just need to find the slope.
To find the slope, solve for y
2x + y = -5
y = -2x - 5
The slope is -2
so, the equation is
y = -2x + 2
