I wrote a poem but I still feel like it could use a bit of editing. Feel free to give your opinion and thanks!

With their heads drooped low, they slouch on a chair.
At the small object, they can't help but stare.
With both thumbs moving, such dexterity!
Faster than cheetahs their thumbs seem to be.

You utter a word, but I doubt they'll hear.
On screens, words are better than in one’s ear.
Their phones are in use all hours of the day,
Don't even think about taking them away!

A time and a place there is for all things.
I loathe during movies a phone rings.
Cell phones at dinner? What a disgrace!
There is for all things a time and a place.

I see moms and dads with children who hurt,
Not giving them the least bit of comfort.
Nothing else matters but their precious phone,
Maybe you'd be better off leaving them alone.

That's probably the best 21st century poem describing our group of people (aka millenials) I have ever seen. Well Done!
