This prompt would refer to someone who would consider themselves a Muckraker. A muckraker is someone who researches and publishes scandles and corruption found in politics. This term was popularized in 1906 when used by President Theodore Roosevelt in a speech, he reference a man with a muckrake in his hand, a term from "Pilgrim's Progress" describing someone who seeks worldly gain by raking muck.
