Number of students on the jungle gym =1/4

Number of students on the playground not of jungle gym =
1-(1)/(4) =
(4-1)/(4)=
(3)/(4)

Number of students playing kick ball =1/3

Number of students on the playground not of playing kick ball =
1-(1)/(3) =
(3-1)/(3)=
(2)/(3)

Number of students on the playground is on the jungle gym or playing kickball = 1/4 +1/3

=
(1)/(4)+(1)/(3)=
(3+4)/(12)=
(7)/(12)
