- {x}^(2) + 5


f = 4x + 1 \\ g = {x}^(2) - 5 \\ f - g = \\( 4x + 1) - ( {x}^(2) + 4x - 4) \\ 4x + 1 - {x}^(2) - 4x + 4 \\

- {x}^(2) + 4x - 4x + 1 + 4 \\ - {x}^(2) + 5
