What effect did the printing press have on Europe? It made it easier for priests to teach Catholicism by giving them control over the production of the Bible. It made it harder for people to publish works because of the difficulty in running the printing press. It enabled books to be printed quickly and inexpensively, making them available to commoners. It had a small effect in Europe but a much more significant influence in the English colonies.

The printing press has a big effect in Europe due to the fact that it spread the catholic religion really quickly. And then the idea was brought to the America’s to help spread information anout anything faster such as the spreading of religion

The printing press mainly affected Europe as it was able to print books more quickly and inexpensively than making it by hand. It also made them available to commoners. :3
