Formula: A = a + b/2h
Solve for H
h = 2 A/ a + b = 2 * 18/ 5 + 7 = 3 miles
A Base = 5 miles
B Base = 7 miles
A Area = mi^2
H = 3 miles
H = 2g/b1 + b2
= 2(18)/ 5 + 7
= 36/12
= 3 miles
Answer 3 miles
Hope that helps!!!! ( H = 3 miles).
