Help me please 10 points. When the

French National
Assembly
approved the
Rights of Man in
1789 and ordered
the plantation
owners to free
their slaves in
1894, why did
they refuse?

Because most of their workers were slaves and they didn't want to have a huge loss in their business. Indentured labor was really expensive so they were profiting from free workers and just plain sick greed. in having the power over them and not having to do the work for themselves.
