To solve the, we need to use simultaneous equations.
Lets that adult tickets = a
and youth tickets = y

We can use the information we know to form and solve an equation:

3a + 2y = 146
2a + 3y =134

Lets make the y's the same, by multiplying the bottom by 3 and the top by 2

9a + 6y = 438
4a + 6y = 268

Now we subtract everything, so we are left with the a's and the price

5a = 170
a = $34

Now that we know the price of a, we can substitute it into one of the equations at the very top:

2a + 3y = 134
(2 x 34) + 3y = 134 ( substitute the value of 'a' in)
68 + 3y = 134
3y = 22 (subtract both sides by 68, so we the y's are alone)
y = $22

Now we know that the price;
1 adult ticket = $34
1 youth ticket = $22
