The circle-shaped part of the necklace pendant above has a diameter of 3 mm.

The circumference of the circle-shaped part of each of the earrings is one-half the circumference of the circle-shaped part of the necklace pendant.

What is the circumference of the circle-shaped part of one of the earrings?

The circle-shaped part of the necklace pendant above has a diameter of 3 mm.
so its circumference = pi * diameter = 3pi

The circumference of the circle-shaped part of each of the earrings is one-half the circumference of the circle-shaped part of the necklace pendant.

So the circumference of the circle-shaped part of one of the earrings = 3pi/2 = 1.5pi = 4.71mm
