diameter = 8 inches so radius = 4 inches
part A:
Area = pi r^2 = 16 pi
answer
C. 16pi square inches
part B:
diameter = 8 + 4 = 12
r = 6 inches
A = pi (6)^2 = 36 pi
answer
C. 36 pi square inches
