Exodus is a book in the bible, not a person. It comes after Genesis. Anyways, the whole book is basically about God's promise to free Hebrew slaves out of Egypt. Moses was the leader in this pursuit, chosen by God to help free the slaves. Interesting fact: Moses was sent down a river when he was a little baby, and rescued my the Pharaoah's daughter. He was going to be the Pharaoh of Egypt, and he was a Hebrew. Kinda ironic. The Pharisees and Hebrew Slaves saw God's power, through the parting of the sea, the plagues, and the water turned into blood... but I think this is talking about Moses being the 'messenger of God if you will. He performed miracles with a staff and guidance from God. I think that this story is very interesting, (as a Christian), and I would recommend reading it- Christian or not- it's a great book in the bible.

I hope this helps!
