Point slope equation: y - y1 = m(x-x1)

m is the slope

(x1,y1) is the point

The equation is: y + 3 = 2(x + 2)

The slope is 2
The point is (-2, -3) as the point slope equation subtracts, so when it is adding, the points are negative
