solve for x (first one):
3x = 8y + 2
x = 8/3y + 2/3
solve for y (first one):
-8y = -3x - 2
y = 3/8x + 1/4
solve for x (second one):
-3x = 5y -11
x = -5/3y + 11/3
solve for y (second one):
-5y = 3x - 11
y = -3/5x + 11/5
