Explanations:- Take the known mass of the sample and put it in a cylinder filled with water. Note down the increase in water level. It would be the volume of the sample.

We know that, density = mass/volume

So, from the mass and volume, we could calculate the density of each sample and see whose calculated density is same as the density of copper given in the appendix(density table).
