DNA replication is the process that involves copying of genetic material from a DNA molecule to form another new DNA molecule, the old DNA molecule acts as the template, the process takes place in the nucleus by the enzyme DNA polymerase. Transcription is the process where DNA molecule is used to form a messenger RNA using  DNA molecule as a template. The process takes place in the nucleus and is undertaken by enzyme RNA polymerase. Translation involves formation of polypeptides (proteins) from the messenger RNA, it takes place in the cytoplasm, involves reading of the mRNA codons by the tRNA anticodons.
