The Tippecanoe battle began because of the Tecumseh and other union members of the Indian who wanted to resist the expanding of the territory of the Americans. While the struggle of the Wounded Knee resorted when Indian got confirmed in the reserves to avoid getting in touch with the Americans.

The battle had started in 1811 and was between the confederacies of native warriors, which resulted in Tecumseh who was from the Shawnee tribe. They, therefore, fought primarily against the white expansion of the Indian Territory.

The Battle of the Tippecanoe started because Tecumseh and the members of the Indian union wanted to resist the expansion of the White Americans in their territory while the Battle of the Wounded Knee that resorted when the Indians were confined in reserves to avoid contact with the White Americans

Both wars had caused massive casualties on both Natives and White Americans.
