h y K are the center of the circle

r is the ratio (distance between the center and any point of the circle)

If you have this equation:

You can replace in the basic equation of a circle in this way:


(x-h)^2+(y-K)^2=r^2 is equal to
(x-2)^2+(y-(-4))^2=5^2

And you get:
(x-2)^2+(y+4)^2=5^2
