Yes,while executing forehand strokes,the left foot and left shoulder should approximately towards the table when you are playing Table Tennis.

When your left foot and left shoulder is almost towards the table,you may generate power from your right hand for a topspin,shot,chop or any other option you chose.I have attached a photo which proves the logic of left foot and left shoulder facing towards the table.Photo attached for evidence.
