Does the Pythagorean theorem apply to the side lengths of abc below? Why or why not-example-1

No. Pythagorean Theorem usually deals with right angle triangle. Angles in a triangle adds up to 180° therefore "A" would be equal to 30°. However the equation can be solve by using the sine rule.
