The circle above has a radius of 10 cm. What is the area of the circle? Use = 3.14.

For this you need the formula for a circle:

A=πr2 (pi r squared)

A=π(10) squared
A=(3.14)(10) squared
(remember to square before you multiply - order of operations)
A=(3.14)(10*10)
A=(3.14)(100)
A=314
