Solve for slope first using. m (slope)=y2-y1 divided by x2-x1 so -4/3. Next solve the equation of your line with y-y1=m(x-x1) so y-3=-4/3(x+6) b=-5 picture attached. Last intercept where x=0 y=mx+b so y=-4/3 Times zero times -5. So y=-5. The y intercept is (x,y) =(0,-5)
