Find the m∠LUE first
Two angles that are adjacent and make a straight line is supplementary angle. If we add the number, the result is 180°

∠RUL and ∠LUE are supplementary angles
∠RUL + ∠LUE = 180°
109° + ∠LUE = 180°
∠LUE = 180° - 109°
∠LUE = 71°

Second, find ∠ULE with interior angles of triangle principle
The sum of interior angles on triangle is 180°

∠LUE + ∠LEU + ∠ULE = 180°
71° + 49° + ∠ULE = 180°
∠ULE = 180° - 71° - 49°
∠ULE = 60°
