1.5 miles/30 minutes is your unit rate. If you multiply the rate by 2 you would get 3 miles/hour.
So your final answer would be 3 miles per hour.

So it Oliver's speed is 1.5miles per 30 minutes (half an hour)
Multiply this by 2, to get is speed per 60 minutes (a full hour)
1.5 x 2 = 3miles
Oliver's speed is 3miles per hour
