1km = 1000m......so 216 km = (216 * 1000) = 216,000m
60 minutes per hr....60 seconds per min...(60 * 60) = 3600 seconds per hr

216,000 / 3600 = 60 m per second <===

after 2 seconds......(60 * 2) = 120m <===

There is 1000 meters in 1 kilometer, so 216km = 216000m

Divide 216000 with 3600 (as 1 hr = 60 minutes, and 60 minutes = 3600 seconds).

216000/3600 = 60

60 meters per second

To find 2 seconds, multiply the number found by 2

60 x 2 = 120

120 meters per 2 seconds

hope this helps
