Simplify the following expression:

2x − 2y + 5z − 2x − y + 3z

2x-2y+5z-2x-y+3z

2x-2x= 0 (cancel each other out0

-2y-y= -y (a variable always has a 1 in front of it, so just put a negative there)

5z+3z= 8z

Combine those together.

8z-y
