First, simplify the given expression: combine 1 and 9 to get 10.
Then the problem reduces to 1/3 + 1/4 + 10.
The LCD of these two fractions is 12, and so, after conversion to LCD 12, we get
4+3
----- + 10 => 10 7/12, or 127/12
