y = 5x + 6
-18x + 3y = -54

First, let us isolate y in the second equation:

-18x + 3y = -54
3y = 18x - 54
y = 6x -18

Now we have:

y = 5x + 6
y = 6x -18

Parallel lines have the same slope; in our equations, 5 and 6 are the slopes. They are not the same.

Answer:
No, since the slopes are different.

Hope this helps.
