95 total shots were taken, and the wild cats made 80% of them. Simply multiply 95 by 0.1 to give 10%, which is 9.5 shots, and then multiply that by 8 to give a total of 76. During the course of the game, the wild cats made 76 total shots.

To answer this question what you should do is to take 80% out of 95. To do this, you must make a simple rule of three which you can do as follows.
95 ---> 100
x ----> 80
Clearing x we have
x = ((80) / (100)) * (95) = 76
answer
they did make 76 shots of 95
