Answer: Movement

Use energy

Maintain homeostasis

Composed of cells

Step-by-step explanation:

The plants are living eukaryotic organisms. The following are the characteristics which represents the fact that plants are living:

1. Movement: The plants show movement in response to various stimuli. Some of the plant parts move or grow in direct of sunlight this is called as phototropism, others grow in direction of gravity this is called as gravitropism.

2. Use energy: The plants must use energy in the form of sunlight or chemical energy to grow and develop like other living beings.

3. Maintain homeostasis: The plants are capable of maintaining their homeostasis that is the tendency to maintain the internal environment irrespective of changes in the outer environment. The plants show biochemical and physiological changes to show the homeostasis. The plants prevent themselves from extreme heat, cold and predation by secreting toxins.

4. Composed of cells: The plants are made up of cells or group of cells called as tissues which basically helps in performing specialized functions like photosynthesis, respiration, absorption of minerals and water from the soil.
