Hello there,
1/2÷4 --> Can be changed to its reciprocal(reciprocal of 4/1 is 1/4) 1/2*1/4=
1/8
Each person will get 1/8 of a pan of brownies.

She only has 1/2 the pan.
Herself plus 3 friends are 4 people.
1/2= 4/8
So, they will each get 1/8 of the pan of brownies.
