Why do plants need to obtain carbon atoms?

A.They use carbon to breathe.
B.Carbon is their food.
C.Plants use carbon to build glucose during photosynthesis.
D.Plants don't need carbon.

Either A or C, I'd go with C though.

Plants do use carbon dioxide for glucose molecules, but then again they do get carbon dioxide from the air too.

The Answer Is C: Plants Use Carbon To Build Glucose During Photosynthesis. Once They Have Glucose They Can Reproduce And Stay Alive.
