subordination
This is a major principle in outlining. when representation as an outline, it is seen as levels. each level has an alternate image set of items , and those images relate to things, for example, primary focuses, subpoints, and sub-subpoints. The first or broadest level is a fundamental point, and it is spoken to by a Roman numeral. The second, somewhat more particular level is a subpoint, and it is spoken to by a capital letter. The third level, if necessary, is significantly more particular than the second level, and is indicated by an Arabic numeral.
