When Robin walks into Brown and Grey, a supermarket, she is most likely to engage in an internal information search to buy toothpaste and mouthwash. During an internal information search a customer remembers their past experiences with certain products. Customers use this to determine which product they want to buy. If their past experience was bad with a certain product they will more than likely go with a new product. If their experience with the product was great the customer will choose the product from their memory.
