How do you find the sum of the interior angles of a heptagon. Plz help!

Hey there!

The equation for finding the sum of the interior angles for a polygon with n sides is the following:


180(n-2)

"Hepta-" means seven; thus, a heptagon has 7 sides.

Since a heptagon has 7 sides, n=7.

Now, let's plug in that value into the equation.


180(7-2)


=180(5)


=900

Thus, the sum of all interior angles in a heptagon is 900 degrees.
