Answer :

The number of cups of white paint used is,
(4)/(3)

The number of cups of white paint used is,
(16)/(3)

The number of cups of red paint used is,
(15)/(4)

Step-by-step explanation :

As we are given that a pink paint mixture uses 4 of white paint for every 3 cups of red paint.

Now we have to determine the number of cups of white paint used for 1 red cup of paint.

As, 3 cups of red paint uses the number of cups of white paint = 4

So, 1 cup of red paint uses the number of cups of white paint =
(1)/(3)* 4=(4)/(3)

Thus, the number of cups of white paint used is,
(4)/(3)

Now we have to determine the number of cups of white paint used for 4 red cup of paint.

As, 3 cups of red paint uses the number of cups of white paint = 4

So, 4 cups of red paint uses the number of cups of white paint =
(4)/(3)* 4=(16)/(3)

Thus, the number of cups of white paint used is,
(16)/(3)

Now we have to determine the number of cups of red paint used for 5 red cup of paint.

As, 4 cups of white paint uses the number of cups of red paint = 3

So, 5 cups of white paint uses the number of cups of red paint =
(5)/(4)* 3=(15)/(4)

Thus, the number of cups of red paint used is,
(15)/(4)
