The number of N bacteria in a culture can be modeled through the continuous growth model. If the there were 100 bacteria initially and the value for k is 0.5, what will the population of the bacteria be in 10 hours, where t is the number of hours?

Use the expo growth formula N = No*e^(0.5t), with t in hours.

Then N = 100 e^(0.5*10) = 100*e^5 = 14841.
