12x - 15

So it’s very simple to find your answer. Sunny earns 12$ PER HOUR. She works x HOURS. You already have your variable (x) listed for you. Variable x represents the amount of hours Sunny works. We don’t know that. But we do know she earns 12$ per hour (x). That is where 12x comes from. Sunny was CHARGED. Charged is a fine. A fine is a withdraw and a withdraw means subtract. So that is where - 15 comes from. When you put it together you get: 12x - 15.
