Hey there!

To find the unit rate of touchdowns per game, start with this proportion where x is the amount of touchdowns:

(12)/(6)=
(x)/(1)

Now, cross multiply:
12=6x

Divide both sides to solve for x:
12/6=6x/6
x=2

Therefore, you have 2 touchdowns for every game or 2/1.

if you make it a ratio, it will be 12:6 which is reduced to 2:1.
