4x - 2y ≥ 6

Isolate the y. First, subtract 4x from both sides

4x (-4x) - 2y ≥ 6 (-4x)

-2y ≥ 6 - 4x

Divide -2 from both sides, note that when dividing a negative, you must flip the sign.

(-2y)/-2 ≥ (6 - 4x)/-2

y ≥ (-3 +2x)

y ≥ 2x - 3 is your answer

hope this helps
