87.5 miles. Really all you have to do is multiply 35 times 2.5. you should get the same if you double check.

The dragonfly traveled a distance of 87.5 miles at a rate of 35 miles per hour.

Step-by-step explanation:

Distance traveled by butterfly at the rate of 34 miles per hour in 2.5 hours
=35 mi/hr × 2.5 hour
=35mihour ×2.5 hour
=35mi⋅2.511010
=35mi⋅2510
=35mi⋅52
=175mi2
=87.5mi

∴ It would travel a distance of 87.5 miles.
Here mi represents miles.
