Answer: 1167 girls.

Explanation:

Given : Fraction of students at a school are boys=
(4)/(7)

If there are 2723 students at the school, then by using multiplication operation.

The number of boys in the school=
(4)/(7)*2723

=1556

Now, the number of girls in school= Total students- Number of boys

=2723-1556=1167

Hence, there are 1167 girls.
